Cashmere is the most luxurious type of wool that can be found. It is even softer than Merino wool, but it has the same qualities. Cashmere is shorn from the soft Kashmir goat down. The softest fibres are separated from the long and rough hair that is a difficult and time consuming process, but necessary to bring out the soft and luxurious feeling of the wool. Being softer than Merino, Cashmere does not irritate skin either.
